Сергей Сергеевич Порошин

(28.10.1957 — 04.12.2013)

     У Сергея было редкое сочетание тонкого и острого ума с искренней доброжелательностью. Его отличала высокая эрудиция, быстрота мышленния, мягкость в общении и твердость в бридже.
     В последние годы болезнь разъедала его изнутри, однако Серёга не поддался ей. Ходил под парусом, много и плодотворно играл, жил полной жизнью.

     Помним. "Он же товарищ наш".

     For my money West was a heart short for his overcall, and he paid a heavy price. North led the queen of hearts and declarer won as South discarded the five of clubs. Declarer returned the two fof hearts to North's nine as South discarded a second black five.Three rounds of spades saw North ruff and he exited with the jack of hearts, declarer winning and playing a club to the queen and king.
     He still had to lose a trick in each red suit, two down, -500. That cost 9 IMPs.

     East led the queen of clubs and that was covered by the king and ace, West switching to the six of diamonds that went to East's king. He cashed the jack of clubs and exited with the nine of diamonds to declarer's ace. West won the heart exit with the ace and returned a club, declarer discarding the ten of diamonds and winning with dummy's ten. The six of clubs was high now, so declarer played it. When West discarded the jack of spades decalrer got rid of his last diamond. He cashed the ace of spades then tried the queen of diamonds. West ruffed with the seven of hearts and declarer overruffed with the nine and exited with the ten of hearts. West took the king and returned the nine of spades to dummy's king. When declarer played a spade from dummy West carelessly rufffed with the two of hearts so declarer could score the four and the queen for +110.
