Foundations of Modern American BiddingKen Lindsay | ![]() |
Foundations of Modern American Bidding is a description of the system I taught my daughter,
Kathryn, when she moved to Hawaii. With this system, she was able to win a minor 4-section Open Imp Pairs event at a National tournament only eleven months after she started learning to play bridge. The Web Book will allow the user to read a concise description of the Foundation System, print a hard copy for reference, and then practice the System and test his understanding of it.
To view the various chapters of the book, you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. If Acrobat Reader is not already installed on your computer, you may download The Table of Contents is shown below. Bidding Practice in Part II features many practice hands with comments showing the logic which leads to the selection of the proper call when (as frequently happens in real life, but not in most beginners' books) more than one call might reasonably be selected. |
